Mesa is the Pythonic answer to NetLogo: a framework for agent-based modeling that lets you define agents and their rules, run the model, and watch emergent behavior in a browser-based visualizer. Open-source and modular, it lowers the barrier to simulating complex systems — epidemics, segregation, markets, ecosystems — for anyone already living in the scientific-Python stack.
