I timestamp most of what I do in Roam, and it tells me nothing. A three hour block and a two minute block are the same line of text. This takes the day’s timestamped blocks and lays them on a vertical time axis, so the block’s height is how long it took, the way a calendar column works. Gaps become visible. So do the afternoons that went to Twitter.
